Cristiano Ronaldo says Portugal’s opening World Cup group match against Ghana at the World Cup will be the “most difficult” of the entire tournament.
On Thursday, November 24, 2022, at Stadium 974 in Doha, the opening match of Group H will feature Portugal and Ghana.
The captain of Portugal said when discussing Portugal’s chances of winning the World Cup that the team must concentrate on winning their first match against Ghana, which he regarded as the “most difficult.”
“Our national team has a great chance to win the World Cup, in my opinion. We’ll find out. I think we can. I hold that optimism and conviction, he said.
He added, “But as these contests usually teach us, we must remain composed. On the first group game, we must reflect and concentrate.”
The Black Stars are in Group H with Uruguay, Portugal, and South Korea.
Ghana will play Portugal on November 24th at Stadium 974.
On November 28th, the Black Stars will take on South Korea at the Education City Stadium.
They will play their final group match with Uruguay on December 2nd at the Al Janoub Stadium.
