Vision FC triumphed in a thrilling 3-2 win over Samartex. Vision saw their lead canceled out twice before Nana Kwesi Amoah secured the winner with 10 minutes remaining. Daniel Yemoh scored Vision’s other two goals, while Alhassan Mankuyeli and Emmanuel Mamah found the net for Samartex.
On Tuesday, Bibiani GoldStars strengthened their promotion push with a 2-1 victory over Heart of Lions. Samuel Kumi Attah and Gideon Anaba gave GoldStars a 2-0 lead by halftime before Nana Oppong pulled one back for Lions in the second half.
Medeama came from behind to edge Basake Holy Stars 2-1. Issah Yakubu put Holy Stars ahead in the 28th minute, but Kamaradini Mamudu equalized for Medeama on the stroke of halftime.
Medeama had a chance to take the lead in the 85th minute from a penalty, but Yusif Mubarik missed the opportunity. However, Derrick Fordjour struck in the 89th minute to complete the comeback and secure all three points for the defending champions.
