In Tuba, Dreams FC recorded a 1-0 win against Accra Lions to move out of the relegation zone. Kelvin Ahiable scored the decisive goal of the game in the 70th minute. Before the goal, Edmond Amakye was shown a red card.
Nations FC returned to winning ways with 3-1 win against Basake Holy Stars at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Complex. Razak Simpson, Faisal Charwatey and Emmanuel Annor scored for Nations FC, while Emmanuel Adjei grabbed the consolation goal for Holy Stars.
At the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex, Vision FC secured a 1-0 win against Nsoatreman. Abddul Sulemana scored the only goal of the game in the 6th minute.
Young Apostles secured a 2-0 home win agianst Karela United in Wenchi. Samuel Prempeh scored the opening goal in the 30th minute, before Fosu Kyei rounded up the win in the 60th minute.
Samartex ended a run of five games without a win with a 1-0 win against Aduana FC in Dormaa, Solomon Adjei scored the decisive goal of the game in the 75th minute. Aduana’s goalkeeper Masawudu Inusah was sent off in 64th minute.
In other results, Second half goals from Gideon Anaba and an own goal from Mohammed Seidu saw Bibiani GoldStars beat Berekum Chelsea 2-0 at the Dun’s Park.
A solo goal from Ahmed Ramzy Yussif in the dying minutes of the first half was enough to earn Hearts of Oak a 1-0 win against strugglers Legon Cities at the University of Ghana Stadium. The win sends Hearts of Oak just 2 points behind leaders Heart of Lions, while Legon Cities remain bottom of the table.
