A 21-year-old man, Farrai, has reportedly murdered his mother at Obosomase-Akwapim in the Akwapim-North District in the Easter Region.
The deceased said to be in her sixties was found motionless on Sunday, May 14, 2023.
Residents claim that the suspect, who is the mother’s last child, beat his mother to death with sticks and blocks.
But he stored the body at the home where he had slept the night before he was approached by some men in the neighborhood.
The 21-year-old suspect is currently in Police Custody at Mampong while investigations have begun.
Meanwhile, the body has been deposited at the morgue for prevention and autopsy.
