The roof of the Ejuraman Anglican Senior High School dining hall was ripped off by a severe rainfall leaving several injured.
Some 40 students at Ejuraman Anglican SHS in the Ashanti Region’s Ejura-Sekyedumase Municipality were reportedly hurt when the dining hall’s roof collapsed on them.
Eyewitnesses say the incident occurred at about 5:00 p.m. on Monday, February 6, 2023.
Five pupils were alleged to have suffered serious injuries, while 35 others received minor injuries.
The students were sent to the Ejura Government Hospital for emergency treatment.
As of the time of filing the report, no deaths had been reported.
