The Accra International Conference Centre hosted the 47th Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) Awards on Saturday, January 28, 2023.
The nation’s longest-running event, the awards programme, was presented to recognise the athletes who excelled in 2022 and elevated their sport and their nation.
Mohammed Kudus, a standout for both the Black Stars and Ajax, was the night’s main winner, taking home both the Foreign-based Footballer of the Year and Sports Personality of the Year trophies.
