A Plus accuses Ursula Owusu of ‘faking’ attacks on her office and residence to tarnish NDC’s image

The newly elected Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, Kwame Asare Obeng, has accused Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, the Minister of Communications, of ‘faking’ the alleged attacks on her office and residence.

According to A Plus, this could be a ploy to tarnish the image of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and gain sympathy after losing the Ablekuma West seat.

He questioned the lack of CCTV cameras at Madam Ursula Owusu’s office and residence, despite her eight-year tenure as Minister of Communications.

“If, after serving as Minister of Communications for eight years, her office and residence still lack CCTV cameras, it speaks volumes about the kind of associates Akufo-Addo worked with – more focused on theatrics than substance,” A Plus wrote on X, previously known as Twitter.

“She is capable! It is possible!!” he exclaimed.

Metro TV cannot independently ascertain his claims.

Meanwhile, there has been post-election violence across the country after former President John Dramani Mahama of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) was declared the winner of Saturday’s presidential election.

Irate youth, allegedly supporters of the opposition party, attacked several state institutions, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. Properties were set ablaze, with eyewitnesses reporting scenes of chaos and pandemonium.
