Nana Asiedu Okor, the Lartehene and Akuapem Benkumhene, has expressed his displeasure at the abandonment of government projects, stating that it hinders progress and development.
Speaking at his palace during a courtesy call by Sammy Awuku, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Akuapem North Constituency, Nana Okor urged him to ensure that projects in the area are completed.
The Lartehene commended Awuku, who is also the Director General of the National Lotteries Authority (NLA), for his swift response to issues and prompt actions, describing him as a development-oriented person.
The occasion was also used to commission an ultra-modern toilet facility completed by the NLA’s Good Causes Foundation.
Ama Frimpong, CEO of the Foundation, highlighted the various development projects undertaken by the Foundation across the country.
Sammy Awuku cut the sod for the construction of a new junior high classroom block for Larteh Ahwenease M/A Basic school.
