Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, the Communications Minister and Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West, has lost her parliamentary seat to National Democratic Congress candidate Rev. Kweku Addo in the recent general elections.
Rev. Addo secured 31,866 votes, surpassing Madam Ursula Owusu-Ekuful’s 26,575 votes.
Born and raised in Dansoman, Rev. Addo brings a wealth of experience, having pursued higher education in Europe and the United States.
He returned to Ghana to manage his mother’s school, eventually becoming its director. As an accomplished entrepreneur, real estate broker, and clergyman, Rev. Addo is renowned for his humility, pacifism, and compassion.
Rev. Addo’s campaign focused on community development, promising to address pressing issues such as job creation, market development, education, and infrastructure improvement.
