Aboboyaa Company donates three motorbikes to Ghana Prisons Service

Aboboyaa Company Limited has donated three dispatch motorbikes to the Ghana Prisons Service to support the movement of officers and improve day to day operations.

The donation was made on February 5, 2026 by the Chief Executive Officer of the company, Nana Susubiribi I.

He said the gesture was meant to appreciate the work of the Director General of Prisons, Mrs Patience Baffoe Bonney, and her efforts to reform and strengthen the service.

According to him, the motorbikes will help enhance rapid transportation within the service, making it easier for officers to respond promptly to operational needs. He noted that private sector support remains important in improving the efficiency of public institutions.

Receiving the items, the Director General of Prisons, Mrs Patience Baffoe Bonney, expressed gratitude to Aboboyaa Company Limited for the support. She described the donation as timely and beneficial to the work of the service.

She also appealed to other organisations and individuals to support the Ghana Prisons Service in various ways.

In addition, she encouraged the public to contribute to the Prison Improvement and Sustainability Pesewa Fund through the shortcode 9721*3100# and to support other development projects of the service.
