The Coalition of Aggrieved Customers of MenzGold Ghana has congratulated President-elect John Dramani Mahama and Vice President-elect Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang on their victory in the December 7, 2024, presidential election.
The group in a statement available to Metro TV expressed their warmest congratulations to the President-Elect and Vice President-Elect, stating that their victory “represents the views, aspirations and higher expectations of the generality of Ghanaians including MenzGold customers who have their locked-up investment in Menzgold” ¹.
The customers, who have been affected by the MenzGold scandal, pledged to work closely with the new administration to ensure the attainment of a criminal trial and retrieval of their locked-up investments within the first year of office.
“Since government is a continuum, we are prepared to work closely with your administration to ensure the attainment of criminal trial and retrieval of Customers locked up investment within first year of office,” the statement read.
The group also congratulated all Members of Parliament-elect, praying that the true aspirations and welfare of Ghanaians, especially the vulnerable and victims of scams, would be their concern.
