The High Court in Accra has given Nana Agradaa and her co-accused a deadline to submit the details of a proposed plea bargain before their next hearing.
The court said the agreement must be filed at least three clear days before December 16, 2025.
On Tuesday, prosecutors told the court they were considering applying for a bench warrant for the second accused. Defence lawyers said they had not received the hearing notice. The judge ordered the court registry to ensure proper service before the next sitting.
Agradaa’s lawyers said talks with the Office of the Attorney-General on a plea deal were well advanced, asking for a short adjournment.
The prosecution confirmed that the complainant, Emmanuel Appiah Fumum, known as Osofo Biblical, had been involved in the discussions and was present in court.
The case relates to allegations that Agradaa, a former fetish priestess turned evangelist, aired nude images of Fumum on her TV station and social media pages without his consent.
Prosecutors say the images were shown during a live programme where panelists mocked the complainant—an offense under the Cybersecurity Act, 2020 (Act 1038).
Agradaa, who is already serving a 15-year jail term in a separate fraud case, was present in court.
Defence lawyers also expressed concern over media interviews by Fumum, in which he reportedly commented on Agradaa’s prison condition.
The judge urged the prosecution to advise the complainant against public statements while the case is ongoing.
