Mr Kennedy Osei Nyarko, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Member of Parliament for Akim Swedru Constituency in the Eastern Region has donated 50 number of 40 inches TVs and 1000 dual desks to basic schools in his constituency.
This is part of his commitment to improve teaching and learning in the Akim Swedru district.
Kennedy Osei Nyarko reiterated his commitment to education. The donation, according to him, forms part of his efforts towards promoting quality education in the constituency.
This is one of the several interventions by the Akim Swedru MP to help improve education in the constituency.
According to him, the donation will help alleviate the inadequacy of desks in Akim Swedru schools and reiterated the government’s commitment to education and the determination of President Akufo-Addo to see through transformational programmes like Free SHS.
