The atmosphere was electric with purpose and passion as students, dignitaries, and thought leaders gathered for the Women Empowerment Seminar and official launch of the TESCON Ladies’ Club at the University of Ghana’s Accra City Campus.
The keynote welcome address was delivered by none other than Akosua Manu, the 2024 Parliamentary Candidate for the Adentan Constituency.
In her warm and powerful address, Akosua Manu spoke to the hearts of many, declaring the event as “not just an event, but a movement” — a transformative step toward equipping young women with the tools to lead boldly in politics, entrepreneurship, academia, and beyond.
“This is your time. This is your space. And this is your voice. Let’s make it count,” she declared, urging attendees to see themselves not just as participants, but as pioneers of change.
The launch of the TESCON Ladies’ Club, UGACC Chapter marks a critical milestone in the empowerment of young women within student politics and leadership.
