On Independence Day, Monday, March 6, Mmofra Place Dzorwulu will host the third Akple Festival, a gathering designed to give attendees the chance to sample regional cuisine.
Along with the diversity of food on show that day, there will also be live performances by The Borborbor Music, God’s Gift Brass Band, and Adaha Dance Band.
Discover the GoodLife is the subject of the event, which is scheduled to take place from 10 am to 11 pm, and organizers BrandwithEchiri guarantee attendees a good time.
Ebenezer Echiri-Mensah, CEO of BrandwithEchiri, in a statement, said this year’s edition will boost vendor booths to control the crowds with the addition of a Night Market. Even at night, a range of regional staple meals will be offered while customers take in the exciting ambiance. As we commemorate Ghana’s 64th year of independence, you can enjoy meals the Ghanaian style at a chop bar.
He continued by saying that his staff had taken steps to ensure that customers had adequate and strict security in a bigger, better, and more entertaining environment.
Mr. Echiri-Mensah stated that the two prior editions were successful and well-attended, and he expressed optimism that the upcoming exhibition would be even more successful.
“After two successful editions, we only hope and pray the third one will be better and I’m confident that will happen because we started preparations early and we have put a lot in place”, he added.
