Akufo-Addo’s ministerial picks sail through parliament’s approval process

The nomination of new ministers named by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been confirmed by Parliament after hours of voting.

With this clearance, Adansi Asokwa MP K.T. Hammond will officially take office as minister of trade and industry, working with Dr. Stephen Amoah, his deputy.

The same holds true for other minister-designates, such as Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam for the Ministry of Finance, Mr. Osei Bonsu Amoah for the Ministry of Local Government, Decentralization, and Rural Development, and Bryan Acheampong for the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, Stephen Asamoah Boateng for the Ministry of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs.
