All set for NDC National Delegates Conference in Accra

All is set for the National Democratic Congress’ National Delegates Conference scheduled for December 17, and December 18, 2022, at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The delegates will vote in the National Delegates Conference to elect new executive officers for the umbrella party.

With the exception of the National Women’s Organizer and the Youth Organizer positions which were held last week at the University of Cape Coast, all other executive positions will elect new leaders.

Sammy Gyamfi was uncontested for the National Communications Officer position.

With a few hours to the commencement of the conference, the Planning Committee party has provided all travel and accommodation arrangements for delegates.

Meanwhile, the High Court at Amasaman, has granted an application for Interim Injunction against the National Democratic Congress, the NDC Planning Committee Chairman, Alex Segbefia, the NDC Acting Director of Elections, Daniel Amartey, the Electoral Commission and George Opare Addo restraining them, their Agents and/or assigns from swearing in George Opare Addo as the National Youth Organizer elect of the NDC.

The defendants have been further restrained from holding George Opare Addo out as the National Youth Organizer elect of the NDC.
