Anlo MP engages communities on Bekpo-Tregui-Agortoe two-year road project

The Member of Parliament for Anlo, Richard Kwame Sefe, has held a community engagement session on the Bekpo-Tregui-Agortoe Junction Road project to officially brief community members on an upcoming two-year road construction programme.

The meeting brought together key stakeholders, including the Volta Regional Feeder Roads Engineer and his deputy, Ing. Gregory Amissah and Ing. Tony Nyarko respectively, as well as traditional authority figures led by Torgbui Xornametor I (Mr. Vincent Kwamitsey Kaledzi)

Also, present were the District Chief Executive (DCE), Sandra Seyram Kpedor, constituency and branch executives, along with numerous compatriots, residents, elders, and youth from the affected communities.

According to the Anlo MP, the interaction served as an opportunity to share the details of the project, the expectations from all parties, and the benefits the road construction is expected to bring to the area. He noted that the briefing also reaffirmed the collective commitment of stakeholders to improving road infrastructure and boosting socio-economic activities in the communities.

Richard Kwame Sefe expressed appreciation to the President John Dramani Mahama and the Minister for Roads and Highways for what he described as their dedication to improving the lives of Ghanaians through infrastructure development.

He also commended the DCE for Anlo Sandra Seyram Kpedor, for her support and collaboration toward the realization of the road project.

Special recognition was given to Torgbui Xornametor I ( Vincent Kwamitsey Kaledzi) for his leadership, advocacy, and unwavering dedication to the development of the area, citing his consistent engagement as a major factor in advancing the project.

The MP further praised the youth of the affected communities for their active involvement, unity, and continued support, adding that their energy and passion for development signal a promising future for the communities.

To the chiefs, elders, and residents, the MP extended thanks for their patience, understanding, and resilience over the years, stressing that their collective voice and support have contributed significantly to making the dream a reality.
