Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo has been nominated for the prestigious 2025/26 Premier League Player of the Season award following an outstanding campaign with both AFC Bournemouth and Manchester City.
The 25-year-old attacker enjoyed a breakthrough season, registering 16 goals and four assists in 35 Premier League appearances. Semenyo’s performances were pivotal in Manchester City’s title challenge after his high-profile January transfer from Bournemouth.
Semenyo made headlines with his electrifying first half of the season at Bournemouth, quickly establishing himself as one of the Premier League’s most dangerous attacking players. His form caught the eye of Pep Guardiola, leading to a mid-season move to the Etihad Stadium.
Adjusting seamlessly to life at Manchester City, Semenyo hit the ground running. In February alone, he scored three goals and provided one assist in five Premier League matches, earning his first EA SPORTS Player of the Month award.
