Asante Kotoko SC has outlined a comprehensive preparation program ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup first preliminary round match against Nigerian side Kwara United FC.
The Porcupine Warriors will host Kwara United at the Accra Sports Stadium in the first leg before traveling to Nigeria for the second leg.
The team’s preparation schedule includes:
– Sunday, September 14, 2025: Departure to Accra after their Ghana Premier League opener against Berekum Chelsea FC.
– Monday, September 15: Double training sessions.
– Tuesday, September 16: Radio and television appearances with selected players, followed by double training sessions from Wednesday to Friday, with a single session on the eve of the match.
The winner of the two-legged tie will qualify for the next phase of the competition.
Asante Kotoko’s preparations aim to ensure a strong performance against Kwara United and a successful CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
