The police in Awutu Beraku have arrested one out of two persons who inflicted deep machete wounds on a 63 years old man.
The suspect, Nicolas Kudjo now in custody and one other person currently on the run attacked a 63 years old man identified as Efo.
According to sources, a friend of Nicolas with name Alhaji gave two bundles of roofing sheets to Efo to keep for him. But a few days later, Nicolas and Alhaji went and took the roofing sheets without the consent of Efo.
The suspects engaged in heated arguments with Efo and at around 1 am in the night carried out a planned attack on him.
The victim is currently hospitalized at the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital where he’s receiving treatment.
