Ghanaian actor and politician, John Dumelo, has announced the sudden passing of his father, John William Kudzo Anato-Dumelo Snr.
In a heartfelt tribute posted on Facebook, Dumelo revealed that his father had passed away just 10 minutes after they had spent time together discussing various topics, including his upcoming swearing-in ceremony as a member of parliament.
The Ayawaso West Wuogon MP-elect expressed his gratitude to his father for being a pillar of support and guidance throughout his life, describing him as his “best friend”, “number 1 cheerleader”, and “father”.
The actor also shared his father’s final words of advice, urging him to “serve diligently in government”.
Engineer John William Kudzo Anato-Dumelo Snr. was 75 years old at the time of his passing. Dumelo requested that his fans and well-wishers pray for his family during this difficult time.
