At the climax of the Ghana–China Business Summit 2025, Mr. Mukesh Thakwani, Chief Executive Officer of B5 Plus Group, delivered compelling closing remarks that captured the essence of the summit’s industrial promise while charting a bold new path for Ghana’s global investment strategy.
Speaking at the prestigious Corporate Dinner held at the Country Club in Trassaco, Mr. Thakwani extended deep appreciation to H.E. John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, and the Office of the Chief of Staff for leading what he described as a “groundbreaking initiative” to reinvigorate Ghana’s industrial collaboration with China.
“The past week has been one of profound exchange of ideas, commitments, and renewed belief in Ghana’s economic promise,” Mr. Thakwani said. “It has sent a strong signal to the world: Ghana is open for serious business.”
In a strategic follow-up to the summit’s success, Mr. Thakwani used the platform to propose the organization of a Ghana–India Investment Forum in September 2025. He pledged to personally serve as a liaison to rally key Indian investors to Ghana in support of President Mahama’s agenda to transform the nation into a regional manufacturing and investment hub.
“Let us strike while the iron is hot — while interest is high and the vision is fresh,” he urged.
Reassuring Ghana’s youth, Mr. Thakwani emphasized the Indian industrial community’s readiness to invest in the country’s future. “India believes in Ghana’s potential, in your talent, and in the limitless opportunities ahead. We are ready to invest. We are ready to partner. And we are ready to work hand-in-hand to make Ghana the industrial heartbeat of Africa.”
As the summit concluded, his remarks captured the renewed optimism among stakeholders, reinforcing Ghana’s image as a thriving gateway for African industrialization and international cooperation.
