Residents of Bawku in the Upper East Region are anxious as they await the outcome of the Otumfuo-led mediation process slated for 30th November and 1st December 2025 at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, through the government, initiated a mediation process on the protracted chieftaincy conflict earlier this year and is expected to bring finality to the process on Monday, December 1, 2025.
Speaking to Metro News, some residents expressed heightened anxiety over the event.
They are therefore hopeful that the outcome of the mediation will bring lasting peace and finality to the conflict in the area.
