Bawumia’s running mate choice reflects party’s grassroots’ wish – Talensi NPP PC

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Talensi, Robert Ayindenaba Alibo, has commended Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for selecting Matthew Opoku Prempeh as his running mate, saying it reflects the party’s grassroots’ desire.

According to Alibo, the party’s base had been yearning for a Bawumia-Prempeh ticket, and the Vice President’s decision to choose Prempeh was a testament to his listening to the party’s grassroots.

He urged Ghanaians to give the NPP another chance to continue its good works, noting that the party has the vision to develop the country.

Alibo, who is seeking to retain his seat, highlighted his achievements in the Talensi constituency, including providing portable water to some communities, and pledged to do more if re-elected.

The Talensi district, one of the marginalized districts in Ghana, still faces challenges with access to clean water, with some residents relying on streams and insanitary wells.
