President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has encouraged the over 570,000 candidates sitting for this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) to shun any form of examination malpractices.

In a goodwill message to the candidates, President Akufo-Addo urged them to approach each paper with a clear mind and answer questions to the best of their ability.

“Honesty and integrity are values that will serve you well throughout your lives,” he advised.

The President also reminded the candidates that their hard work and dedication have brought them this far, and a bright future awaits them.

“With the Free Senior High School (SHS) policy, every one of you has the opportunity to continue your education and pursue your dreams,” he added.

President Akufo-Addo’s message comes as the candidates prepare to sit for the examination, which begins on Monday, July 8.

“Stay focused, remain calm, and give it your best effort. The nation is behind you, and we are all proud of the young men and women you are becoming,” he encouraged.

The President’s message is a rallying call to the candidates to remain committed to their studies and avoid any form of examination malpractices.

“Best of luck to you all!” he concluded.

The BECE examination is a significant milestone in the educational journey of the candidates, and President Akufo-Addo’s message is a timely reminder of the importance of integrity and hard work.
