Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Berekum Chelsea, Obed Nana Nketia, has been fined GHC 20,000 for his misconduct during a Premier League game against Asante Kotoko.
The match, which ended in a 1-1 draw, was marred by incidents involving Nketia, who tried to force his way into the match officials’ dressing room and assaulted a police officer. He also incited fans against security personnel, which is completely unacceptable behavior.
The fine must be paid within ten (10) days, and Nketia has been warned that any further misconduct will lead to harsher penalties.

Berekum Chelsea’s Obed Nana Nketia has been fined GHC 20,000 by the Disciplinary Committee, payable within 10 days, for misconduct during the Match Day 4 Ghana Premier League game between Berekum Chelsea and Kotoko at the Golden City Park.
He was found guilty of attempting, along with supporters, to forcefully enter the match officials’ dressing room, assaulting a police officer, and inciting supporters against security personnel at the said game.
Nana Nketia has also been warned that any further misconduct will result in more severe sanctions.
