The National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Berekum East, Simon Ampaabeng Kyeremeh, has criticized the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for neglecting the constituency over the past 20 years.
Addressing a crowd during a health walk in Berekum, Kyeremeh highlighted his personal efforts in developing the area, including road construction, mechanized boreholes, and essential infrastructure.
He pledged to bring more development to the constituency if elected in 2024.
Constituency Chairman Agya Henneh stated that the NPP cannot point to a single completed project in the area, emphasizing that all development projects were initiated and completed by the NDC.
Woman Organizer Lydia Obeng declared her support for former President John Dramani Mahama and his running mate, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, highlighting the party’s Women’s Bank policy as a game-changer for women’s empowerment.
