The Burniton Music Group (BMG) and the Bhim Festival Secretariat have announced a new date for the 10th edition of the annual Bhim Festival, one of Ghana’s most anticipated December events.
Originally scheduled for December 26, 2025, the festival will now take place two days earlier — on December 24, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
According to organisers, the change was made to enhance the overall festival experience by improving security, traffic management, crowd safety, and coordination with public agencies such as the Ghana Police Service and Ghana National Fire Service.
In a statement, BMG explained that the adjustment became necessary following the date change of another major event — Taste the Culture, organised by the Black Star Experience — which created a scheduling conflict. Despite the financial implications, management said the move was in the best interest of public safety and to avoid congestion around the stadium.
The organisers also extended appreciation to the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) for supporting the date adjustment and facilitating venue coordination.
“We believe this decision demonstrates our commitment to ensuring harmony within Ghana’s December events calendar,” the statement read. “We hope all stakeholders in the creative industry will continue to support, rather than compete with, local organisers.”
BMG and the Bhim Festival Secretariat apologised to fans for any inconvenience caused and assured that all previously purchased tickets remain valid for the new date.
The 10th Anniversary Bhim Festival is expected to be a spectacular celebration of Ghanaian music, culture, and Stonebwoy’s global artistry, promising another unforgettable night for fans.
