Head coach of the Ghana national women’s team, Kim Lars Bjorkegren, has named a 24 provisional squad for their final training camp ahead of the 2024 CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament to be held in Morocco .
The Ghana Football Association confirmed the list on Monday, June 16 2025.
Kerrie McCarthy of Kumasi Academy, Northern Ladies’ Afi Amenyeku, Comfort Yeboah, and Nancy Amoh of Ampem Darkoa Ladies are the Four players from the Women’s Premier League side who were included in the list, while debutants Josephine Bonsu, Louisa Aniwaa, Chantelle Hlorkah, and Abigail Kofi Kim, earned their first call-ups under Bjorkegren.

Ghana’s Black Queens are placed in Group B for the tournament, where they will face South Africa, Tanzania, and Mali. The competition is scheduled to begin from July 5 to July 26, 2025.
