Black Sharks beat Mozambique to secure fifth place at the 2024 Beach Soccer AFCON

The Black Sharks of Ghana concluded their Beach Soccer African Cup of Nations (AFCON) campaign with a remarkable 5-3 victory over Mozambique in a classification match.

The two teams earned their spots in this match by finishing third in their respective groups, and Ghana demonstrated their strength by easily overpowering their Mozambique opponents.

Star player Alexander Adjei maintained his impressive form, scoring another hat-trick and bringing his total goals in the tournament to 11, confirming his status as a pivotal player.

Wise Nyamadi and Richard Osai also made significant contributions by each scoring a goal, helping Ghana triumph in the classification match and achieving their best-ever result at the Beach Soccer AFCON.

Although the team did not reach the semifinals, their strong performance has captivated fans, leaving them excited for the future of the Black Sharks.

Meanwhile, the semifinal will see hosts Egypt come up against defending champions Senegal, and Morocco facing Mauritania. Both games scheduled to come up today.
