Organizers of the Boardroom Governance Summit (BGS) 2025 have paid a courtesy call on Chief of Staff Julius Debrah ahead of this year’s event scheduled for October 14, 2025.
Themed: “Daring to be Different: The Role of the Chairperson in Boardroom Governance”, the summit seeks to interrogate the evolving responsibilities of board leadership amid Ghana’s changing corporate and public sector landscape.
During the recent visit, partners of the Summit reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening governance frameworks in Ghana. Addressing the gathering, the Chief of Staff, Hon. Julius Debrah, emphasized the need for periodic reflection and recalibration of leadership practices across all sectors.
“From time to time, we must pause and reflect: what are we doing right, and what are we doing wrong? President Mahama intends to reinvigorate our systems of governance in areas where we have become lax,” he stated powerfully.
The Boardroom Governance Summit has become a reputable platform for C-suite executives, board members, regulators, policymakers, and academics to share insights, learn from global best practices, and shape the future of governance in Ghana and beyond.
