Ghanaian dance duo Abigail and Afronita have secured a spot in the final of Britain’s Got Talent after a stunning performance in the fourth semi-final.
The pair, consisting of 20-year-old dance teacher, Afronita and her 7-year-old protégée Abigail, wowed the audience and judges with an electrifying Azonto routine to Brighter Days by Sigala.
Their performance earned them the public vote and a place in Sunday’s final, with judge Simon Cowell praising their talent and saying they could be in with a chance of winning.
Afronita and Abigail’s performance was met with deafening cheers from the audience, with judge Alesha Dixon describing their act as having
“So much natural sauce, so much flavour, so much personality, so much joy.”
Afronita met Abigail, a deaf dancer who won Talented Kids in 2023, when she started her own studio.
Their partnership has now taken them to the Britain’s Got Talent final, with the audience and judges alike rooting for them to win.
