The Chief of Gomoa Fetteh, also known as Millennium City, Nana Kwesi Amoanyi I, has issued a strong warning to estate developer Patrick Ndego and his associate, Alhassan Amidu, barring them from operating on Gomoa Fetteh lands.
According to the chief, the two men have been terrorising residents and disturbing the peace through what he described as landguard activities.
Speaking to the media, the chief accused them of unlawfully seizing lands and using violence to intimidate locals and rightful landowners.
“They have been disturbing the peace and inflicting harm on innocent people. We will no longer tolerate their actions on our land,” Nana Kwesi Amoanyi I stated.
The chief revealed that both Ndego and Amidu were recently arrested after a violent confrontation over a disputed parcel of land in Millennium City.
The scuffle reportedly resulted in cutlass wounds being inflicted on several individuals, including bystanders.
Nana Amoanyi also addressed claims made by Patrick Ndego, who had accused Gomoa Fetteh’s traditional leadership—particularly the Omankrado, Nana Kwesi Quansah—of engaging in illegal land sales.
The chief strongly refuted the accusations, asserting that it is rather Ndego and his associate who are behind the chaos in the area.
“He has never bought land from Nananom. We do not recognise him. He has disrespected the traditional authority and even the police,” the chief said.
