C/R: Stanbic Bank brings reliable water supply to Awutu Otaipro School

Access to clean water has become easier for pupils and teachers of the Prime Needs Islamic Educational Complex at Awutu Otaipro after Stanbic Bank Ghana donated a new water facility to the school.

The support, led by Abiana Nelson, Head of Internal Control at Stanbic Bank Ghana, forms part of the bank’s commitment to improving living conditions in local communities. The bank’s Internal Control Team provided a water pump, booster, and a 1,100-litre poly tank to ensure a steady and reliable supply of clean water for the school.

Speaking at the presentation, Ms. Nelson said the gesture reflects the team’s belief that access to safe water should never be a privilege but a basic need that fuels learning, health, and growth. She added that small acts of service can create ripples of lasting change, especially when driven by compassion and collaboration.

The initiative is one of several community impact projects by Stanbic Bank aimed at supporting education and promoting sustainable development across the country.
