A 62-year-old woman has been killed in a machete attack by her 30-year-old co-tenant, Hormeku Agbemor, at Twifo Denyase Camp in the Twifo Atti-Morkwa District of the Central Region.
According to reports, Agbemor launched the unprovoked attack on the woman and her daughter, who is now in critical condition at a nearby hospital. Neighbours said the suspect had been exhibiting unusual behaviour in the days leading up to the incident.
Following the attack, some angry residents of the community reportedly lynched Agbemor. The Police have not yet released an official statement on the circumstances surrounding the incident or the condition of the injured daughter.
