The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed officials for Ghana’s TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations Group F qualifier against Angola and Niger.
Georges Gatogato from Burundi will officiate the qualifier between Angola and Ghana. The 36-year-old FIFA Referee, will be assisted by fellow Burundians Rénovat Bizumuremyi (Assistant Referee I), Olivier Nibogora (Assistant Referee II), and Rodrigue Bigirimana (Fourth Official).
Referee Georges Gatogato, an urban engineer, has been a FIFA-listed referee since 2007. He has officiated in numerous CAF competitions, including the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, CAF Champions League, and CAF Confederation Cup. His outstanding performance led to his selection for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

Rurisa Patience Fidele from Rwanda will be the center referee for the qualifier between Ghana and Niger. He’ll be joined by his fellow Rwandans Dieudonne Mutuyimana as Assistant Referee I and Didier Ishimwe as Assistant Referee II, while Jean Claude Ishimwe takes on the role of Fourth Official.
Rurisa Patience Fidele is a FIFA-listed referee, who has officiated matches in various international and continental competitions, including, the CAF Champions League, the CAF Confederation Cup and Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. In 2019, he was part of the refereeing team for the Africa U23 Cup of Nations. Fidele has also refereed matches in Rwanda’s top-tier domestic league, the Rwanda Premier League.

The match between Ghana and Angola is scheduled to take place at Estadio 11 de Novembro in Luanda on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 20:00 hours, while the game against Niger will take place at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, November 18, 2024, at 16:00 GMT.
