Climate Change oriented organisations in Ghana and beyond are celebrating the success chalked by the government of Ghana in the Climate Change fight.

One Climate change entity that has shown appreciation and commended the President, John Dramani Mahama is Climate Communicators Network.(CCN)
Climate Communicators (CCN) Network also called on the new Minister of state, Hon Seidu Issifu to handle the challenge with all due diligence bringing on board all stakeholders in that fraternity to champion the global menace.
According to CCN, With a clear vision, strategic leadership, and collaboration, Hon. Seidu can position Ghana as a beacon of climate action and sustainability.

Hon. Issifu Seidu born 24 July 1969 is a Ghanaian politician and member of parliament for the Nalerigu constituency in the North East Region of Ghana.

Climate Communicators Network
Climate Communicators Network (CCN) has been established. The CCN aims to empower media practitioners to effectively communicate climate change issues, inspire action, and advocate for sustainable solutions.
WHAT IS THE CLIMATE COMMUNICATORS NETWORK (CCN)?
The Climate Communicators Network (CCN) is a collaborative platform designed to connect, empower, and support journalists, media practitioners, and climate communicators in their efforts to effectively report and advocate for climate action. The network serves as a hub for knowledge exchange, capacity building, and professional collaboration, fostering a community of communicators who are passionate about shaping public narratives and driving meaningful change in the fight against climate change.
Convened by Knutsford University, Ghana in partnership with the Centre for Climate and Sustainability Empowerment (CCSE), the CCN brings together a diverse group of individuals, including journalists from print, digital, and broadcast media, climate communicators working with NGOs and government agencies, freelance writers, influencers, and students aspiring to excel in climate communication. The network operates as a dynamic ecosystem where members share resources, develop skills, and collaborate on impactful projects aimed at addressing climate challenges.
The core focus of the CCN is to:
Enhance Climate Literacy: Equip members with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively translate complex scientific data into relatable and actionable stories.
Foster Collaboration: Create opportunities for members to work together on joint initiatives, campaigns, and investigative projects that amplify climate voices.
Support Advocacy: Provide members with resources and strategies to advocate for policy changes and community-driven climate solutions.
Counter Misinformation: Strengthen members’ capacity to address and dispel misinformation about climate change through evidence-based reporting.
OBJECTIVES
The primary objective of the Climate Communicators Network is to create a collaborative platform that enhances the capacity of journalists and climate communicators to:

Amplify Climate Action: Promote solutions-focused reporting to inspire collective action and influence policy.
