Come back to your root and support development – Okyenhene to indigenes

The Okyenhene, Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin, has called on privileged individuals in society to return to their roots and support the development of their communities.

Speaking at a durbar organized in his honor by the Adonten division of the Akyem Abuakwa State, the Okyenhene acknowledged that many citizens from Kukurantumi and Tafo have risen to higher places and urged them to give back to their communities.

He emphasized that the Adonten division is a hub of knowledge, with numerous educational institutions in Kukurantumi and Tafo, and encouraged the elites to support development projects in the area.

The Okyenhene also addressed some internal issues within the Adonten division, urging parties to follow traditional and customary procedures in resolving chieftaincy matters.

The Adontenhene, Daasebre Boamah Darko, praised the Okyenhene’s exceptional leadership and service to humanity over the past 25 years, highlighting his numerous developmental projects, including the construction of basic schools, a university college, and initiatives to combat climate change.
