The Office of the President has received cash donations, medical supplies, food and essential humanitarian goods from corporate organisations and international institutions to support victims of the devastating 29 June 2026 floods.
The torrential rains and subsequent flooding severely impacted several parts of the country, particularly the capital Accra, displacing thousands and destroying property and livelihoods.
In response to the disaster, a wave of corporate philanthropy poured into the Presidency to support the government’s ongoing post-flood mitigation and relief efforts. The donations were received on behalf of the state by Deputy Chief of Staff (Administration) Nana Oye Bampoe Addo, Legal Advisor to the President Marietta Brew, and Presidential Adviser and Special Aide Joyce Bawa Mogtari.
SoftCare FM Manufacturing Company Limited contributed two hundred thousand Ghana Cedis, while the Ghana Institute of Surveyors donated fifty thousand Ghana Cedis to support relief operations.
The Ghana Association of Chinese Societies and Companies made one of the largest contributions in kind, including over eleven hundred bags of 2.5 kilogram rice, four thousand bags of sachet water, five hundred cartons of sunflower oil, four hundred and ninety cartons each of Frytol oil and canned mackerel, over six hundred cartons of Kivo gari, five hundred and one cartons of spaghetti, two hundred and ninety-five cartons of sardines, and substantial quantities of biscuits, tomato paste, shito and assorted provisions.
The association also provided two thousand painless malaria rapid test kits, eight hundred cartons of HPV test kits, anti-malaria medication, hand sanitiser and disinfectants, as well as three thousand sleeping mats, school bags, over three thousand T-shirts, buckets and basins, five two-thousand-litre stainless steel water tanks, chest freezers, electric cookers, fans, shovels, mosquito coils and temporary shelter and bedding materials.

Scancom Plc, operators of MTN Ghana, supported by the Multimedia Group’s Flood Relief Campaign, donated fourteen hundred student mattresses, nearly twelve hundred blankets, and nine hundred and ninety-eight relief boxes packed with essential food items, mosquito repellents, nets and detergents.
Sentuo Group Limited donated four thousand bags of 25 kilogram rice, six hundred bags of 50 kilogram sugar and three hundred and eighty-seven boxes of granular maize, while Ecobank Ghana provided assorted medicines including paracetamol, hydrolyte, dewormers, antimalarials and rubbing alcohol, together with one thousand bags of sachet water, one hundred and ninety-five mattresses, two hundred and fifty blankets and bales of used clothing for men, women and children.
Softcare FM Manufacturing Company Limited also donated one hundred bags of KleenSoft washing powder, one hundred boxes of KleenSoft soap, sanitary pads and baby diapers. B5 Plus Limited contributed seventy bags of 50 kilogram rice, one hundred bags of maize, fifty cartons of Cerelac baby food, cooking oil, sardines and bottled water, as well as blankets, mosquito nets, Wellington boots and raincoats.
Eezzy Group presented one hundred and seventy-eight bags of 50 kilogram rice, eight hundred and forty-two bags of 2.5 kilogram rice, one hundred and twenty cartons of spaghetti, canned beef, sardines, tomato paste and assorted cooking oils and seasonings. Tobinco Group donated one hundred boxes of Omal antiseptic, five thousand gallons of Omal liquid soap and four hundred gallons of Omazone bleach. Kam Trading and Farms Limited contributed four hundred and forty-five bags of 25 kilogram rice.
Government expressed appreciation to all corporate and international donors for their solidarity and continued support to affected families.
