The Nkawkaw Magistrate Court has convicted the Operations Manager of Multi Credit Savings and Loans, Nkawkaw branch, Ayivor Elikplim, for assaulting a female worker, Martha Adutwumwaa.
The court, presided over by His Worship Isaac Agyei, found Ayivor Elikplim guilty of beating Martha Adutwumwaa, a 28-year-old mobile banker, over a shortage of GHc 90.
According to reports, Martha Adutwumwaa was taken to the Nkawkaw Holy Family Hospital for treatment but was unable to obtain a medical report due to a lack of GHc 400.
The judge has deferred sentencing to Friday, June 28, 2024, and remanded the accused into police custody.
