Court convicts Multi Credit Savings and Loans manager for assaulting female worker over GHc 90 shortage

The Nkawkaw Magistrate Court has convicted the Operations Manager of Multi Credit Savings and Loans, Nkawkaw branch, Ayivor Elikplim, for assaulting a female worker, Martha Adutwumwaa.

The court, presided over by His Worship Isaac Agyei, found Ayivor Elikplim guilty of beating Martha Adutwumwaa, a 28-year-old mobile banker, over a shortage of GHc 90.

According to reports, Martha Adutwumwaa was taken to the Nkawkaw Holy Family Hospital for treatment but was unable to obtain a medical report due to a lack of GHc 400.

The judge has deferred sentencing to Friday, June 28, 2024, and remanded the accused into police custody.
