Two men have been jailed for 12 months with hard labour after a violent cutlass fight at the New Station area in Akyem Oda went viral on social media.
The Swedru Circuit Court sentenced Evans Adayele and Joseph Nyabaah to prison for their roles in the clash.
A third accused person, George Okyere, was fined GH₵6,000 and ordered to be of good behaviour for the next three years.
The violence, which happened in Akyem Oda in the Eastern Region, drew public attention after videos circulated online showing groups of young men attacking one another with cutlasses in broad daylight.
The Ghana Police Service said officers moved quickly to restore calm in the area after the footage emerged online.
According to the Eastern South Regional Police Command, investigations led officers to two suspects who were receiving treatment at separate hospitals in the town.
George Okyere, 30, was found at the Oda Jubilee Hospital with a deep cut on his forehead and a severed finger on his right hand.
Another suspect, identified as Paul Pascalele, was receiving treatment at the Akyem Oda Government Hospital for a deep cut on his right hand.
Police later arrested Evans Adayele from his hideout to assist with investigations.
