Ghana international Daniel-Kofi Kyereh has made a long-awaited return to competitive football, ending a difficult injury spell of more than three years.
The 28-year-old midfielder featured for Freiburg II in their convincing 4-1 victory over Eintracht Trier, marking a significant milestone in his recovery journey.
Kyereh came off the bench during the encounter and wasted no time making an impact. The former Black Stars playmaker provided an assist, underlining his quality and readiness to contribute once again.
His return follows an extended period on the sidelines due to persistent injury setbacks that stalled his momentum at both club and international levels.
