Ghanaian duo, David Oduro and Abdul Aziz Issah, have finally been cleared to play for Barça Athletic in Spain after resolving their documentation issues.
The 18-year-olds signed with Barcelona’s youth team during the summer transfer window, with Oduro joining from Accra Lions on a three-year contract and Issah on a season-long loan from Dreams FC.
Since arriving at the club in September, both players have shown great potential while training with Barca Athletic and the senior team, but they had not yet played in any official matches due to their documentation issues.
However, a report from Barca Times has confirmed that the Ghanaians have now cleared all bureaucratic hurdles and will be available for Barcelona’s next match this weekend.
Barcelona Athletic will take on Gimnastica on Saturday, November 2, 2024, and the Ghanaian duo will be looking to make their debuts under head coach Albert Sanchez.
