The Chief Executive Officer of the African Agribusiness Consortium, Dr Mrs. Adelaide Araba Siaw Agyepong, is slated to deliver a speech at the 8th Annual Conference of the Ghana Association of Agricultural Economists (GAAE 2025), scheduled to take place from November 6 to 8 at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Impact Building in Kumasi.
Held under the theme “Transforming Agri-food Systems in Developing Economies Through Sustainable Agribusiness Development,” the conference aims to convene leading voices in agribusiness, academia, and policy to explore innovative strategies for advancing Ghana’s agricultural sector. The event will serve as a platform for knowledge exchange, policy dialogue, and collaborative action toward building resilient and inclusive agri-food systems.
Dr Siaw Agyepong’s participation underscores the growing influence of private sector leadership in shaping sustainable agricultural futures. Her insights are expected to inspire stakeholders across the value chain, from smallholder farmers to agritech innovators.
The conference will also feature several high-profile dignitaries, including Ghana’s Minister for Food and Agriculture, Hon. Eric Opoku, and Professor Rita Akosua Dickson, Vice-Chancellor of KNUST, who will serve as chairperson of the event.
GAAE 2025 promises to be a landmark gathering for agricultural economists and practitioners committed to driving transformation in Ghana’s agri-food landscape.
