Dr. McKorley advises businesses to prioritize customer service over social media

Chief Executive Officer of the McDan Group of Companies, Dr. Daniel McKorley, has urged businesses to focus on delivering exceptional customer service rather than obsessing over social media engagement.

In a recent Facebook post, Dr. McKorley emphasized that likes and followers on social media platforms do not necessarily translate to business success.

According to Dr. McKorley, many young entrepreneurs are getting caught up in the competition of social media, measuring their success by the number of likes and followers they have.

However, he stressed that true success lies in the performance and growth of their businesses, which can only be achieved through great customer service.

“Likes won’t save a business that lacks great customer service,” Dr. McKorley warned.

“If your customers feel neglected, disrespected, or misled, they won’t stick around, no matter how popular your brand appears.”

Dr. McKorley explained that negative reviews can spread quickly on social media, causing more harm than any marketing campaign can repair.

He advised businesses to prioritize building trust and loyalty through reliable and responsive customer care, rather than chasing engagement numbers.

“Build a brand they’ll love and talk about because of your service, not just your social media clout,” Dr. McKorley advised.

“Customer retention costs less than new acquisition, and happy customers become the best promoters you’ll ever have.”
