Accra Hearts of Oak have established a five-member Interim Management Committee (IMC) chaired by former Ghana FA Chairman Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe following the resignation of Managing Director Julius Ben Emunah.
The decision was announced by the club’s Board of Directors on Friday, September 11, as Hearts of Oak begin the process of appointing a new permanent management team.
Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe will lead the committee, which has been tasked with overseeing the day-to-day affairs of the club during the transition.
The IMC brings together experienced figures who have been assigned specific areas of responsibility as the club works to maintain stability following Emunah’s departure.
Mr Samuel Wilfred Yaw Inkoom has been appointed to oversee Finance, while Mr Akwasi Agyemang will be responsible for Operations.
Hon Vincent Sowah Odotei has been placed in charge of Administration, with National Chapters Committee (NCC) Chairman Alhaji Yusif Abdulai taking responsibility for Mobilization.
In a statement announcing the committee, the Board assured supporters and other stakeholders that it remains committed to the club’s ambitions both domestically and on the continent.
“The Board of Directors wishes to assure all stakeholders that it is taking all steps necessary to ensure that the Club continues its pursuit of pre-eminence not just in the country but continentally,” the statement said.
