The draw for the preliminary round of the MTN FA Cup was held at the GFA Secretariat on Thursday, October 17, 2024.
A combined Ninety-two (92) second Division One and Division Two clubs were drawn against teams in their zones, resulting in exciting matchups and derbies.
Northern City was drawn against Real Tamale United (RTU), Techiman Heroes will play Victory Club Warriors, Nania FC will play Great Olympics, Na God FC travel to Ho to face Inter Allies and so on.
The games will take place from October 25 to 28, 2024.
Premier League clubs will enter the competition in the round of 64, scheduled for November 29 to December 2, 2024, with the Round of 32 set for January 10 to 13, 2025.
According to the season’s plan, the Round of 16 matches will occur from February 21 to 24, 2025. The quarter-finals and semi-finals are scheduled for March 28 to 31, 2025, and May 9 to 12, 2025, respectively.
The grand finale of this season’s MTN FA Cup will be held between June 14 and 15, 2025.
