A 58-year-old teacher at Oda Senior High School has been found dead in his bungalow on campus after failing to report to work for several days, raising concern among colleagues.
Mr Okyere Asamoah, popularly known as “Man no”, who taught Business Management, was discovered in his room at the teachers’ quarters in the Birim Central Municipality of the Eastern Region.
Colleagues say his unexplained absence from school triggered alarm.
School authorities have yet to release an official statement, but sources say the discovery has left both staff and students in shock.
Police have since taken custody of the body and say investigations are underway to determine the cause of death. The circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear.
