Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, Member of Parliament for Juaboso and Ranking Member on the Health Committee of Parliament, has accused the Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC) of manipulating the electoral process in the Juaboso constituency to favor the New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate.
Mr. Akandoh claims that the EC, under Dr. Bossman Asare’s instructions, replaced the long-serving electoral officer about a month ago and employed known NPP members as ballot issuers, presiding officers, and other roles to manipulate the 2024 elections.
He demanded that the EC replace these NPP members with competent Ghanaians to ensure transparent and fair elections.
Mintah Akandoh assured that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) members in the constituency would legally resist any manipulation, ensuring the elections remain open and fair.
